Meatballs and pasta soup
Ingredients:
8 oz. Pierino Meatballs (1/2oz.)
2 cans (11-ounce) condensed beef consomme
3/4 cup of Pierino Angel hair pasta or Spaghettini
fresh Italian parsley, to garnish
freshly grated Parmesan cheese, to serve
Step 1. Pour both cans of Consomme into a large saucepan, add water as directed on the labels, then add an extra can of water. Stir in salt and pepper to taste and bring to a boil.
Step 2. Drop in the Pierino Meatballs, then break up the pasta into small pieces and add it to the soup. Bring the soup to a boil, stirring gently. Simmer, stirring frequently, until the pasta is al dente: 7-8 minutes or according to the instructions on the package. Taste for seasoning. Serve hot in warmed bowls, sprinkle with parsley and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
